I have a number of friends who have children with severe nut allergies, so chocolate is something they can't have -- can't take the risk of a plain chocolate bar being mixed in a vat where chocolate and nuts were mixed. At first the young girl nearly started to cry -- she loved chocolate and it was such a rare treat for her. But when we explained that these were chocolates that she could eat and they were just for her, well, her eyes lit up and she hugged that bag full of candy like it was a doll she had always wanted. I found out later that they tossed a couple of bags in the fridge and used them for Christmas cookies.
