I miss Kelly. :( We did our last show (with Hit) yesterday, and I was crying halfway through it. I hate. It was an amazing way to spend 5 months of my life, and I know that our partnership and chemistry is one for the books. I don't think I can have that with anyone else. :(
I only realized how much the show affected our listeners when I read their emails and testimonials on our Friendster page after we signed off. Here's something our listener Alvin wrote last night:
Mornings with Kelly and Tin was first aired on August 20, 2007..3-6 pm...It was their pilot episode and the show was called "Afternoons with Kelly and Tin".....On September 10,2007 it was transferred to the morning slot, 9 am-12 noon.....I was hooked to it and it became part of my radio habit....The show brought me joy and laughter that other radio programs cannot offer me....I visit the show once in a while because as Tin said, "It is better if it's live...live show".....I always find time to listen to the show whether i am driving, on hospital duty(during breaktimes), on the jeepney, on the bus, at home, even while walking on the streets(using a headset and a cellphone with radio)...I enjoyed their food day Thursday, improv Wednesday, quest for stars like Cholo Villanueva, Tin's top tin list, their 12 days of Christmas, Kelly's Kellyism after every show, their longest Jenny at the end of the Click 5's song Jenny where I became an official timer( i enjoyed timing it everyday...seriously...hehe), their infectious laughs, and many other things that i forgot to mention......I will never forget it(labo noh)....
And now as tears fall down my eyes, December 31, 2007 marks not only the end of the year, but also the end of my favorite radio show "Mornings with Kelly and Tin"...This is also the day that one of my favorite DJ, Kelly is retiring(daw)......I don't know how to start 2008 without it because the show and it's DJs became part of my life....
In behalf of all the listeners, i want to thank 99.5 Hit FM, Mornings with Kelly and Tin, DJ Kelly, DJ Tin for bringing a very wonderful show to us...It was just 4 months but the joy you brought to us was countless...I also would like to say sorry to both of you for making your calendar dirty...I know that i am the reason behind it.......Thank you also for the book and the autograph...i will treasure it.......I hope you two received the brownies..Ü
