Of all the weeks to get sick....
I'm in pretty bad shape. Bronchitis. I have to hope this goes away before Sunday otherwise I'm going to be one miserable bastard during the Super Bowl. I haven't even issued my official prediction yet. I think you all know who I'm going to pick but I haven't broken down the game. Look for that this weekend. Right now I just want to clear out my head and lungs.
Obama's $900 billion mess passed the House yesterday. Great. More money we don't have will be spent. Hasn't anyone figured out this money has to come from somewhere? You can't just turn on the printing press and spit more out without serious consequences. It's been a week and I really don't like what I'm seeing so far. The libertarian streak in me continues to get nervous. I'd like to know exactly what the hell is in this bill. $900 billion is over 25% of the federal budget. Don't let that little secret out. It might upset some of the brain dead Obama worshipers. Which include a few of you here. I won't name names but some of you are so politically brain dead with your slavish worship of the guy, I do not value any opinion you offer politically anymore.
I'll give him Guantanamo Bay. But I want to know where those being held will go. He has a year. Let's see what the plan will be.
Otherwise, he continues to grow government to the breaking point. The deficit will continue to rise and things won't get better. I won't get into social issues right now because they don't matter right now. It's the economic mess that worries me.
