Weeee! Shitloads of updates for your reading pleasure!
This weekend, I'm staying at my mom's. I basically worked things out with her, but I haven't talked to her boyfriend yet, so I'm a bit nervous. Sunday is my birthday/Easter, and I guess that's kind of exciting... 17 isn't really a particularly special age to me. It's like 11 or 15 or 19... who the hell cares? 16 and 18 and 21 are the biggies. Can't wait till next year so I can get into all these live shows I'm forced to miss due to my age. There's a few good shows coming up that I might be going to. Plus, I've got tickets for Nightwish, and even though I'm disgusted with their latest progress, I guess I can still attend.
Still practicing the art of antisocial. Even though I have lots of things to post about, I never feel like I want to anymore. Also, I'm afraid the people I want to poke fun at will someday catch a glimpse of this, and then I'd be screwed.
I'm set up to get a job soon working for a builder, building a house. Wee! Hopefully it won't be as incredibly difficult as it sounds. But, whatever, a job's a job, and I love this kind of constructive work.
I'm sooooooo excited for next Thursday :D And Friday I'm seeing MUSE!!! Can't get much better, eh?
Upcoming releases to be hyped for:
- The Quiet One (this summer)
- It seems Battle Royale is being officially released over here! Anyone got more info?
- Kill Bill: Vol. 1 DVD
- Kill Bill: Vol. 2 theatre release
- Moon Child DVD release
- eX-Girl's new album
- Tori Amos' DVD!!!
The weather has been fantastic lately. MUSE, In Flames, Lacuna Coil, Cruxshadows, and Nightwish are just a few of the great concerts I'll likely be seeing soon. So much to be grateful for.
By the way, did anyone see that AWESOME show on FOX, Wonderfalls, before some IDIOT decided to cancel it? A friend recommended it to me and I downloaded the four released episodes. It pisses me off that it got cancelled, but eh, life goes on.
Seriously though, what the fuck is wrong with FOX? Replacing a show THAT good with reruns of The Swan? How...? Plus, it got rave reviews and they had already filmed and produced 13 episodes. Hopefully they'll release the rest on DVD. Basically, its about this wicked attitude-y girl in her early 20's who kinda reminds me of Clarissa from that old Nickelodeon show, except little figurine animals and various other things like that talk to her. Too great for words.
That's it, then.
