this fucker wasn't so bad....
wow...the last few days have been really gay....
saturday parents decided to get a motel in miami....i would have stayed in the house for the hurricane, but no the "head" of the family, my dad of course, makes all the important decisions...so yeah packed all my shit away,and we left for miami saturday morning...everyone back home lost power around 8..as this time around fpl decided to cut the power off intentionally....talked to bri and a few other people on the phone b4 the power went off...they said the storm wasnt that bad...
returned to the house sunday morning, our neighborhood was trashed again but held up pretty well.. as did our house...one tree down in the yard..which makes three total that weve lost in the two storms...but we have at least 30 trees in our yard so its really not that big a deal...
the worst has been these past few days...didnt get power back till yesterday afternoon and phone and internet came back this morning...but living with no power sucks...the house is at least 85 degree 24 hours a day..even with a number of the windows open...its actually nicer outside in the heat of 1 in the afternoon, than it is inside the house...trying to get sleep is the worst...the neighbors loud generator didnt make things any easier...neither did the constant stream of bugs flying through the cracks in the screen of the window...ive got a number of itchy mosquito bites...
but life is kinda back to normal...we still have no school....it supposedly starts again tomorrow...but yeah i didnt get to hang out with anyone these past few days...with the exception of bri, who came over monday...
yesterday i went to the mall, met up with taylor and lance, with his g/f...
today im gonna hang with amanda hopefully...
i actually want to go back to school...cept im glad we didnt go back today..cause it would be odd and i have a shitload of world history homework and a life mgmt skills test...tomorrow would be good...
