Just Randomness
Here are a couple of jokes.
While Presedent Bush was having a press conference about New Orleans, he was asked what his oppinion was of Roe vs. Wade.
He thought for a moment and said, "I don't care how that get out of New Orleans as long as they just make it out!"
Donald Rumsfeld is giving the president his daily briefing. He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed."
"OH, NO!" the president exclaims. "That's terrible!"
His staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the president sits, head in hands.
Finally, the president looks up and asks, "How many is a brazillion?"
We've got the Toyota at the mechanic, who is giving it a tune-up and will hopefully replace or fix the blower motor or the blower switch, so that we will again have air conditioning in it (imagine not having air conditioning. Now imagine not having air conditioning in 90+ degree weather. Now imagine me constantly bitching about not having air conditioning in 90+ degree weather. You can see why they want it fixed =) While the car is in the shop I get to drive Gerry's car.
I love Gerry's car.
It is a 2004 Honda civic -=purr=- It goes, and it drives soooo smooth, and I love Hondas. I <3 Hondas. It is like some sort of floaty dream, driving that car. The air conditioning is incrediable, the car steers magnificiently, it has actual PICK UP to it (the toyota is an 89 and well past its prime), it is just wonderful to drive. It truely is a driving experience.
I picked up a copy of Wicked and am over halfway through it after reading it for one day. Gregory Mcguire is an excellent writer and I love the way he portrays the "bad guys" of famous fairy tales. I've also read Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister and found the entire thing to be GREAT. Why do the bad guys always get such a bad rep? Now I'm looking forward to seeing Wicked on Broadway even more. We're putting back money to finance our trip up to NY next summer, after Damon's got more vacation time. This time, hopefully and fingers crossed, there won't be any major problems that will kill us financially, because we'll be ready!
I am going to continue to bitch about my inability to get the calculate command to do it properly, until the calculate command does it it properly. It is very rude of the calculate command to not work when I have clearly programmed everything into it in the correct manner.
The egg rolls at China Wok are amazing. I could eat about fifty of them right now, just sit there and gorge on China Wok's egg rolls. And pineapple. Man, I'm hungry =( As soon as I'm done in this class we're outta here and getting something to eat!
