Connie? I thought you had given up on live journal!
...that's actually pretty representative of the kind of dreams that I usually have. The trouble is remembering the details long enough to write them down.
I had a dream earlier today where my mother and I had been selected to run a library that was inside of a convenience store, but the other person that was running it with us was a baby in a mech suit. He (or she?) wasn't old enough to talk or lift heavy things yet, but the mech suit helped out with those aspects of the job, so it was okay. I really wish I remembered more of it than that, because I woke up excited about how interesting it all was, but then... most of it just faded away.
I see that you clearly still do post on LJ, it's just that my feed reader hates you or something. But it still picks up posts from your dreamwidth journal that I read every now and again. I just can't comment on them as easily.
Well, all my posts should cross over here just fine. You can comment here on LJ if you like - I do check it for the very few long-term holdouts who are still here!
Your posts theoretically cross over through the RSS feed (at least the public ones) but sometimes I seem to miss them.
When my feed reader had stopped picking up posts from LJ, I just assumed that you had abandoned the journal here. I honestly never thought to check. I'll keep that in mind in the future!
To give a little more detail here, I'm pretty sure that the dream was actually a number of references to Reddit posts that I saw throughout the day:
1) The references to industrial lubricant were probably inspired by a post that I saw where people were talking about surprising and scandalous things that they had discovered at their jobs. One of the comments was a guy describing how he had been hired to pretend to lubricate machines, but actually was supposed to be spying on certain people.
2) The part about being afraid to drop the pizza was from a post I saw with a crying child holding a pizza box and a upside-down pizza on the sidewalk in front of him
4) I'm pretty sure that the slave girls were a reference to the children from the Anime "Death March" (which I did not watch yesterday, but that's not the point).

3) The sequence with the girl vomiting up a thin milky-white substance was, I'm pretty sure, a reference to this particular NSFW image of a backwards-flow incense holder.
