Don't smile like that

i'm tired of apologizing for my opinions. the last thing i want to do is offend. i've had too many 'excuse me?''s and 'how dare you''s fired at me to NOT feel somehow guilty expressing myself. so suck it.

can I just say im exactly the same,im always saying sorry and worrying that im offending others and its really annoying me too,Our journals are a way of expressing how we feel about everything and yet we say sorry when we think what we say offends others,it does suck.
At the same time aslong as we aren't saying bad things or making others feel less important then I personally don't see what the problem is,yet people still get annoyed with what we say or do in our journals....we can't please everyone,im not even gonna try anymore, you should do the same.
Hugs

You can say whatever you need to say around me... I'm almost impossible to offend. :)
Never be afraid to be yourself.

Yep, yep. But becoming unapologetic takes some courage, I'll admit. You have to be okay with people not liking you, even those whom YOU like. But in the end they'll respect your solidarity and confidence in your own opinions, or they're not worth listening to in the first place. (Respect, but not always agree, hehe.)

I always feel a little bad when you apologize for yourself. I'm a bull-headed conversationalist, and it pains me if I find I'm pushing my friends into corners. You can always push me back, so don't worry! I have a tough skin and I always love it when my friends are comfortable enough around me to let loose and be heard.

Mmhmm, girl. *snap and a head-bobble*
