Now I Select You, Slow Down I Let You
I saw Interpol last night for the third time. I truly believethey are a band you have to see live to appreciate the atmospheric quality their sound posesses. I was on the fence about the new album and their future, my faith was instantly restored. Just like the first time I saw them, every emotion, sway and swell burst into life.
They finally played Stella Was A Diver, which is a song I have been waiting nearly four years to see performed, I guess third time was a charm. I was pleased with the amount that they played off the first album as well, it is still without a shadow of a doubt my favorite and I was going to be disappointed if they stuck strictly to the most recent editions to their discography.
I also got another tattoo yesterday. It is a tribal spider design on my upper left thigh, sitting closely to my brown recluse scar. I absolutely adore it.
Yesterday was dehydrating and exhausting, but I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it.
