Today was my 2nd serving shift at the Grill.
My first table was a very odd triple. An asian guy, an older woman on her cell phone, and a bald guy ordering for everyone. They ordered their food at very random intervals and right before the old man and woman's food came, they took off for about 15 minutes.
After they came back and the woman was still on her cell phone, they ate and I brought them their bill.
At the end of the meal, the woman came up to me and said, "I am keeping your pen, and here's why," referring to the Princess pens I stole from the cruise line I worked for. "Tomorrow I am supposed to go on a cruise to Alaska and I forgot my passport. I am having it over nighted in hopes it comes before my cruise tomorrow. I am cruising on Princess cruises and this pen is a sign to me." She then promised if she makes her cruise tomorrow, she's going to give me $500. I sure hopes she makes it on the boat!
