12/26/03 - Catch 22, Bigwig, Fall Out Boy, Punchline

Okay, first off, sorry to Erin Rosser and her sister for making yu wait so long. I already had plans that didn't really fit around Dave's. Anyway, got to the show, and missed Punchline. I really don't give a shit. Then during Fall Out Boy, me and Dave two-stepped and did some hardcore dancing, and I hit some pop kids. Awesome. Now, it must be said that the majority of our friends were totally shitty. They drank a lot and smoked a lot of weed before going. Doug was the worst. Anyway, so Bigwig opened with Sink Or Swim, and had the fucking opening bass line in there. Fucking awesome. Amy spotted me skanking by her, and came over. It's so weird to see that girl at shows. I thought she wasn't really into punk and ska anymore. Anyway, so Bigwig rocked. Did some skanking, some thrashing, some circling. The Catch came on. Half their set was off Dinosaur Sounds. But the other half was good. We eventually got the pit in the back goin'. I met the girl that scowls at the side of the pit, and steps in every now and then to pull of amazing footwork. I also saw Nicole there, and she told me to call her so we could hang out. Think I'll take 'er up on the offer. That's about it for now. I gotta get up in five hours for work. Oh, new CDs. This'll be a good place to put this as well.
