update!
I can't believe it's been so long since my last update. Months! I'll actually make this a real update and talk about what's going on in my life.
Swimming was a huge disapointment this year. Our record is just embarassing, my times have hardly improved at all, and nobody is having fun. The coach.......how can I put this........gives us no freedom with what time we do have, and is no fun whatsoever. *coughkilljoycough* I wouldn't mind any of this if our record were not 3-8, but whatever. It's over in a week, anyways. The only thing I'll miss is my swimmers.
School is school; boring. I have decent grades in everything but math, which I recently pulled up into the passing realm. Yay! I can't wait for swimming to be done and watch my grades just rocket. I actually have friends in my classes this year, which is good, because I would go absolutely insane if I were alone.
As far as the Europe trip is concerned for next summer, really not looking too good. We can't get enough people to go, and the people that are going don't really care. If it's cancelled.......well, I'll end up in Europe eventually, no way am I letting this one by.
Youth group........sucks. I blinked, and all of a sudden it's 13 year olds. So I'm pretty much looking for somewhere else to go, somewhere devoid of "will you go out with me" notes, play fist fights every 20 seconds, and screaming in place of conversation. That would really be nice. It's not that I don't like 13 year olds, but 20 of them all in one place, completely wired.....ugh.
Work......is work. Boring, slow, and painful work. I can't tell you how many paper cuts I've gotten, how many books have fallen on me, how many times I've ran over my foot with my cart. It's a dangerous job, dispite the mundane-ness. And probably the most boring thing I have ever done in my entire life.
So, yeah, that's about it.
