The Willow
2/11/07
Upon willows, we whimper
Wandering around this white winter
Withering with this wilted wicker
We're warned of these wayward whispers
Whisked away on the whipping wind
Wary of the wrongful wailers' wand
Whimsey warped by warring whistles
A will awoken from its wide winks
Wanting a wedge of worldly wanton
Walked out on the wasted winnings
Just to wobble, wane and withhold
Winging back to our wearisome woefulness
Water whorls and whirls waft
A wordless warble waves withdrawal
Wrecked in the worried whelm of
The willow's well-warded wrench
