hm, I don't think its very pretty. But thats a personal think, maybe I'm a bit to traditional ^^

Erm -- I quite like it ... But it's going to be awkward for people who have wide banners on the userinfo page.

I think it looks pretty ok too. It just wouldn't work for me (banners), but even if they go through with it, you're supposed to be able to turn it of. So that's ok, on my part.

I think maybe this thing with the profile has generated a bit more hype than it deserves, it's "the final straw" for some who don't like the changes LJ has made recently, ergo the other link. I think it's a pretty ok way to say you'd like a change. Beats spamming the support mail ;) I'm feeling grateful that I'm not on the LJ staff right now. My guess is that they're receiving both one and two mails about this. Yeah, and this turned into a sort of rant. Sorry :)
