So Thursday and Friday were pretty good days. Thursday I went to Kate's to work on a history project. Justine was supposed to be there too, but she wouldn't until I yelled at her (in jest I might add). So she came over...and Kate and I were being stupid...that's what we do. So...yeah...Justine eventually went home, and we got distracted. At about eight or nine, we decided we wouldn't have enough time, and I'd need to sleep over. I thought that was a bad idea because I wouldn't have anything clean to wear, and I'd be going out with Cecilia the next night. In the end, we decided we'd just alter something. We looked about for something to alter, and eventually began designing like mad.
Needless to say, we never so much as started the history project, and stayed up until about 3:30am working on the outfit. We slept in the next morning, of course, and got to school about a half hour before history class would have ended. Seeing no point in experiencing the horror of the class, we skipped the rest of history. At lunch, I saw Carmel, and she paid me $40 for the dress I made her. That was very very nice of her (more money than I've ever had). People complimented our outfits. That was mad cool. So, I started calling myself a creative genious...just...because.
The afternoon was fun. Cecilia and I went to Rideau, and had fun playing about in Trivium, where our clothes (all handmade by us) were complimented. The girl who helped Cecilia said I should definitely make a career of it. I think that's my plan. I seem to be quite good at this. Cecilia bought herself some purple hair dye.
Later on, we ran around in the market, and into some lovely little boutiques and things. We went to Jou Jee and Richard Robinson's...as well as some with unknown names in secret places. That was good fun. We felt inspired, I think...and Cecilia got drunk on the fashion. A tiny old Japanese tourist said that we were cute. My love of old asian ladies has increased. Then we went back to Rideau and ate supper at Manchu Wok because the movie we were going to go see was going to start quite soon. After our supping, we ended up running down to the trees by the canal. We found books there last time. Abandoned. We cuddled up in her coat. Twas pleasant.
The movie...well...hahah...I saw about...two seconds? Something about 'hunting a ghost'? Hahahah, I liked it. We need to remember for future reference that there is absolutely no point in us buying tickets for a movie unless people we know are there and being awkward. At the end of the movie, I went to call my dad. He said they had been really worried (apparently, I was supposed to call home during the school day...oops!). So, having a half hour to kill, we wandered back onto the roof. There was smoke...like...a lot of smoke...as much as would come from a camp fire...we decided that there were a hell of a lot of people smoking scentless weed. Hehehe... yeah. So then we went to wait for my dad by Trivium...but he was ten minutes late. When he finally got there, he offered Cecilia a drive home.
We lost the car. It took a while to find it, but we did eventually, and we drove Cecilia out to Orleans, and then went back home. It's weird being in a car with somebody who doesn't know. Trapped with him...weird. We got back at about eleven. I was sleepy. I went to bed.
