rehabilitation is hard man

This is what I had to learn in college today, Anselm (1033-1109) on his logic as to why god has to exist "...It is quite possible to think of something whose non-existence cannot be thought of. This must be greater than something whose non-existence can be thought of. So if this thing can be thought of as not existing, then, that very thing which a greater thing cannot be thought is not that than which is a greater cannot be thought. This is a contradiction. So it is true there exists something than which nothing greater can be thought, that is cannot be thought of as not existing."

My homework was to teach his ontological argument to someone else. If any of you English or Philosophy buff learnt anything, my job is done
