So back in the fuck music post, I listed Green Day's "Hitchin' A Ride". Now, any time I mention that I classify said song as being sexy, I receive one of two reactions. One, a very strange look accompanied by a halting "ohh…kaaaay…". Two, a "wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more" inside-joke smile from many of my fellow fans. Ah, yes. It's common fan knowledge at this point that a rather delightful fringe benefit *cough* comes with the live performance of that particular song. But that's not the reason it's on my list.
While on the subject, however, I've heard people ask, "Why does he do it during 'Hitchin' A Ride'? Why not 'Longview'?" Well, for one, you silly thing, that'd be far too obvious. Secondly, it makes perfect sense. He's never more breathy than he is in that song. Throughout, he sounds perpetually on the verge. It's not overt, but it's not exactly subtle, either.
What's my point? I don't have one. Therefore, I abruptly end this post with pictures.
