Awesome dream!

I had an awesome dream last night. I was at a Goodwill-esque thrift store browsing through a rack a suits. They had quite a few unique pieces! There was this one suit jacket that was really long and velvety, like it was somewhere between a suit jacket and an old time smoking jacket/bath robe kind of thing. That's not even the awesome part, though. I had seen this jacket further down the rack, but was going to look through all of them in order before checking it out. I didn't even get a CHANCE to check it out, though, because I just happened to push all of the suits to one side to see what was behind them, and, believe it or not, it was old synthesizers! Holy crap! There were only two back there. One was small and a dark burgundy red, with mother of pearl keys like an accordion. I wanted to try this one the most, so I decided to play the other one first because this other one was still pretty exciting, and I still wanted to be excited about it when I played it. It was a long white keyboard, kind of like the one Sammie plays in The 500s, but longer and slimmer, and without the inverse keys. It was hooked up to a little amp, so I sat down to play it. The key action was too weighted for my taste. Like you really had to push down hard to get a sound out of it. So, I turned it up louder to hear what I was playing, and it had a sound just like my standard Moog sound! With a bit more of a "whew" emphasis on the attack. I started trying to mess with the sound, and found that the keyboard had a set of pre-set sounds that you could choose from, which were set over to the left of the keys on a computer keyboard numberpad. Each sound could only be edited slightly (although there were some confusing menu buttons that lead me to believe that you could do deeper editing) so I switched to another preset. It didn't do anything for a second, and I thought it was a dud, but then it came in with this gradual, devastating modulation speed buildup! "wow wow Wow WOW WOWOWOWOWOWOW!!" Like that. And that was one of the presets. It also had a picture or sticker of a gremlin on it, which I figured I would have to overlook. And it had a weird feature where you could press a button and it would play back like a random HeMan conversation or commercial or something. I started looking for the price, sure that it was going to be $100, which would have been reasonable, but still too much for me to pay. I know it's going to be $100, I kept thinking, but I couldn't find a price tag on it. Then I woke up.

The amazing part was that I did not feel a sense of disappointment upon waking. I enjoyed myself so much in the dream that I didn't even care that it wasn't real - I was still riding the excitement and found myself rather invigorated!
