IDSnews.com | Assembly Hall stages disaster drill

Thanks to the SWAT team, I was rescued unharmed!

So here's the scenario: 3 crazy home grown terrorists steal several gallons of an herbicide from a farm store. They enter IU Assembly hall in fatigues with guns and sprayers. They spray randomly and take off, but find themselves unable to get away. They take an unassuming employee hostage (me) and barricade themselves in an office.

SWAT shows up and surrounds the building and negotiations begin. The bad guys are super crazy and getting crazier and negotiations fail. They threaten to shoot the hostage (me). "Survivability drops to zero" for bad guy holding gun to hostage. Sniper gets a shot and takes him out. SWAT descends on the office, shoots a second bad guy and apprehends the third. Hostage taken to the ground as well. (I guess I see their point... but I wasn't expecting that for sure.)

In the meantime, Hazmat shows up and sets up a tent to decontaminate the people sprayed. They cut off their clothes and rinse them off before putting them in an ambulance. They 'walking wounded' go by bus to the hospital.

I must say, I was thoroughly impressed by SWAT. I'm in this room with the three bad guys, and they keep having me look out the window and tell them what SWAT is doing, but all I see are a couple guys crawling around way way down the hallway. I kept looking, and nothing changed. I thought I heard some noise from another direction, but couldn't see anything. Suddenly, the guy directing us says, 'J, you've been shot' (J's the guy with the gun holding me at the door) and J didn't even have a chance to process it and suddenly there were 20 guys in gas masks and assault rifles in the room yelling at us. They must have been everywhere all around us but I didn't see a thing! They had even put garbage cans in front of the door and I don't remember them even knocking them out of the way.
