If anyone remembers TERROR ON CHURCH STREET, the haunted attraction that used to be on the corner of Church St. and Orange Ave. in downtown Orlando, you'll know that the entire city block is being demolished to make way for "Emperor" Dyer's plan to revitalize sowntown! YAY!!!! Welcome back Sammy!!! I've never had the time/chance to go to Church Street and see it, which sucks that it will never happen now. I think it's a load of bull.

i broke my toe at terror on church street one year.

what are they building on that block?

They are tearing down the whole block to make way for an office complex, shopping, a 12-screen movie theater and condos starting at 200K! Mayor Dyer has said in retrospect that it was wrong for him to try and keep the deal from the public, and "he'll never do it again!"

I really miss it, Church Street is almost completely abandoned now too, making way for more yuppie condos, damn shame damn shame...
