At last updating
It’s been a lovely long weekend, on Friday morgan came over and we pretty much spent the whole day laying on my bed talking about the death penalty, pretty haired boys and everything in between. Tho we took a brief field trip to the basement and Thomas gave in to my wishes and played the My Chemical Romance music videos (which I think are utterly brilliant, the video part anyway, I’m kind’ve lukewarm about the music, reminds me too much of the summer of 2002, at least some of you crazy kids will understand that.) anywho that was a wonderful day.
Then today for the first time in many weeks I had the house entirely to myself (mom and dad were at a BBQ and Thomas left for SCATS early this morning) so mostly I puttered around in paint covered jeans and read the paper with a mug of tea like an old person.
It’s only 2 weeks till vampy starts and I haven’t gotten anything together yet, I’m also very pleased to say I haven’t gotten overly schmaltzy or gloomy about this being my last year and whatnot. Meaning no syrupy bittersweet speech will be made by yours truly at the last dinner, plenty of people will take a whack at it without me adding to the blubbing masses.
