Axis put on a hell of a set. They were really great last night and it was fun to be there in the audience.
Psyclon 9 were alright... I liked the music but the screaming, synthed, vocals weren't up my alley. They had a cool look (fairly Manson-ish) and put on a good show though. Off stage they could have been a bit friendlier. I was on security duty and was watching some of their shit outside so I had some contact with them and it left much to be desired. Oh well. Probably will never see them again anyway so I really don't give a shit.
Attrition was pretty good. I liked their set a lot but at that point I was tired, picking up empties, and helping to get shit squared away to close the bar down, so I wasn't paying a whole lot of attention.
Because I was helping with security and standing outside the back door most of the night I missed Lilium and The Secret Post. Kind of a bummer because I really wanted to see, or at least, hear them. If I stood around the corner of the building I could hear some of Lilium's set and they sounded pretty damn good. I will be checking out their next show.
Got to talk to the guys from The Secret Post and it sounded like they had a good time even though William was MIA.
Headed out to the after party after the show. Hung around and talked for a while but I was falling asleep so it was time to head home. Went to bed around 430 and got 3 hrs sleep. Woot!
Heading out to Ft Smith, TX tonight after work. This will be a fun drive. Coffee will be my friend.
