Woopadeedoo!
Well that was a fun weekend. NYE was a blast. Had a smidge of drama but it didn't last long.
Started off the night at a party with our SCA friends. That was a lot of fun but I had to drive so I was laying back on the juice a bit. Got to talk and joke with friends and had a great time. Wish we could have been in two places at once because it sounds like it got kinda crazy after we left. I hate missing the good stuff...
We headed over to the Eagle after 11 so we could hang out with our other friends for Midnight. Last year we were at the other party so I thought it would be fare to be with our other friends this year. The music was great and there were a lot of people there. I drank a bit more at the bar and started feeling pretty good. Midnight rolled around and we counted down and drank some champagne. Good times! Two AM came around in record time and we headed out to the after party. Had fun here too. Had a few more beers and caroused with more friends. I think we ended up leaving there around 4 or so then headed home to get some sleep.
Got to see a ton of my friends and I always love that. Some were absent but not forgotten. I wasn't upset that I didn't call everyone like I did last year... Oh well, there's always next year. May this one be as good and even better than last.
