Older!
Thanks to all my friends who came out on Saturday and Sunday. I had a great weekend and I am now 27!
Lots of movies this weekend. Went to the theater and watched Happy Feet this weekend. That was a really good movie. It started to run a bit long and some of the music being mashed together was odd, but I enjoyed it. Rented the new version of Casanova and was surprised because that was really good also. It turned out to be better than I was expecting.
Last night we had some friends over and watched Hostel and The Man. Hostel was a let down. It was hyped up in the media, like The Hills Have Eyes, as being the most disturbing movie blah blah blah... but it wasn't that great. Really slow for about the first 45 minutes before it got interesting. There were some gory parts and some of the more realistic scenes made me cringe, but the stuff they did to the Asian chick was really goofy. It was like waiting in line forever for a 10 second thrill ride. The Man was really funny. Samuel L Jackson is awesome and Eugine Levy is just strange. I don't think I've seen a Samuel L Jackson movie I didn't like... still need to see Snakes on a Plane though.
In other news... I've hit you tube. There's a video of me fighting at one of the SCA events that we go to. It is a very quick fight and one in which I was "killed"... but it was still cool to see.
