If it makes you feel better, I suspected your life was a lie long before I knew your video game habits.

BOO-YAH!

For realsies, though, there's more money made in the VG industry than in movies now and FAR more than there is in music...I always suspected they'd get close, but never could've foreseen a time when there were three companies, all of them so huge that most gamers have multiple systems and the software quality is so awesome that it's just blowing film away.

When customers ask me how vids got so big, I explain simply that it's bang for buck. If I buy a new movie, it's twenty bucks and chances are I'll watch it maybe a couple times in my life for a total of four hours. A new video game is $40-$60 and, even if enjoyed but once, probably offers at least 40-60 hours. And now that great writers have gotten involved with gaming, a great story can be told there every bit as well as in a film.

Vids and movies will always be apples and oranges in some ways and neither will ever be in danger of going away, but it's amazing how much the industries have in common compared to even 15 years ago.

Add this account, you fuck; I don't care if you never reply to anything on this blog, but since your other post is blocked, I keep havin' to log out and log back in as granolademonic just to harass you about your hot, illegal drunkard of a sister.

What's this about a drunkard sister? And illegal, you say? I perked up for some reason that could easily be explained.
