Glee 3X04 "Pot of Gold" Thoughts
You know the drill...
This was a largely underwhelming episode, mostly because Rory impressed me about as much as I thought he would, which is...not at all. i was totally side-eyeing him along with Kurt during the closing number. The scene with Finn was adorable, but mostly because we were reacting through CM, and he played off of Rory well. I'm sooo pissed that Damien was the one to sing It's Not Easy Bein' Green. It's my favorite of the Seseme Street Songs, and I wanted Glee to do it for ages, but the fact that Damien did it? Just....whyyyyyy???
HOWEVER, that said...
There were parts that were just pure Golden (pun intended).
WHO NEEDS JOE THE PLUMBER WHEN YOU'VE GOT BURT THE MECHANIC??????
I love Burt running because it directly effects his family.
SHUCK wins all the awards. Pucks i've Been Waiting for a Girl Like You was pretty much the sexiest thing ever. Also that kiss at the end? WHYYYY WERE YOU CUT OFF????`?
Also, SUE versus BURT for ALL THE AWARDS!!!! Seriously, that campaign is gong to be sooo awesome and I can't wait to see it play out! I loved the funeral parlor guys. The pet crematorium??? TOTALLY where Kurt took Pav!!!! They were hilarious, and Candyman was fun, so was Last Friday Night despite the slightly off lip-synching and Britt's "Doesn't my campaign need, like...continuity?" Way to be meta, Britt...way to be meta....
I would like the Brittana stuff more if it was a ship I could actually root for. I know I'm sitting in unpopular opinion camp here, but the way Santana treats Britt isn't exactly...how I'd want to be treated in a relationship. And Britt just TAKES it and that just breaks my heart a little.
It's taken me this long to form coherent thoughts because I have mostly been distracted by the promo. SERIOUSLY!!!!!
I HAVE EVEN MORE REASON TO HATE CHOIR FOR COCKBLOCKING REHEARSAL!!!!!!

I'll be missing it due to rehearsal. Grrrrrrr.
