My math class starts today, but it's not until two.

Still, truthfully, I'm a  little terrified.  So much so that I didn't sleep at all on Saturday.

My calculator is three presidential administrations old.  Bush Sr. was in office when I first purchased that thing, and truthfully, if you asked me to remember how to find 'x' right now given Y and Z and whatever the hell else, I don't think I could.

But we shall see.  In other news, Father's Day turned out to be fairly quiet.  With my sister up in NY and my mom out of town right now for a conference, it fell on me to do Father's Day things.  I got him a book (the title to which I can't remember) a card and an ice cream cake, and we finished watching the US Open, which actually, despite the typical boring nature of golf, turned out to be a fairly decent game.

Also yesterday, I completed chapter 1 of a crack!fic idea that I'm honestly...kinda proud of.

Sue and Kurt...as aliens...a la The Unnatural.  Mulder and Scully go to investigate.  And OH MY GOD I had fun writing the 'How Sue Sees It' segment.  It's been AGES since i've written Mulder and Scully.  It feels good to be writing those characters again...sounds corny and pathetic, i know, but it feels kinda like i'm coming home to old friends, and seriously, I love writing Sue.  It has one lonely little review and...if you're bored...
