Cancelled Performance & Surprise Tickets
I will not be busking this evening. I don't know if the weather's supposed to clear up this afternoon, but even if it is, I couldn't figure a way to get everything into the city without getting it or myself soaked.
However, I'm hoping to get out there early tomorrow morning. It looks like tomorrow's rain is supposed to hold off until the afternoon, and I really don't want to let the whole weekend slip by without making a little extra monies. Since Sunday is also looking to be pretty rainy, tomorrow morning might be my only chance. I'm going to try and be out from about 9, 9:30 until my quotes run out, the weather gives, or I get too sore or bored.
In unrelated, but significantly more awesome news: I'm going to see Amanda Palmer on June 20th! buffybabee and liquiddatura are coming up that weekend to see the concert and are crashing at my place. A while ago buffybabee emailed me because she knew someone who was looking to unload a ticket at a reduced price. I was tempted, but passed since I really should be saving my money/spending it on more practical things. Then last night she called me up to tell me that Jenny had picked the ticket up for me!
Considering that I met Jenny once, the day of the WeKAP photo shoot in JP, I'm both amazingly flattered that she cares whether or not I go, and entirely blown away by her generosity. Bonus, Beth, the photographer behind We Killed Amanda Palmer is now Amanda's personal assistant. So... three guesses who I'm meeting in two weeks!
