Oh, the weather outside is frightful!
It isn't actually. Not yet. But (for those of you not in the Boston area) we're supposed to get some sort of ridiculous amount of snow this afternoon. My office is closing at 3 and at least two of the folks I game with on Thursdays are also getting out early. This is good, since otherwise I'd have to figure out what on Earth to do with myself until 6 or 6:30 when said gamers would normally get home to let me in.
I'll likely spend my lunch break in search of inexpensive snow boots. My dress shoes (maryjane style croc rip-offs) have excellent tread, but are unlikely to keep my feet especially dry if I have to wade through snow drifts today or tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get out and back before the snow really starts coming down.
In other shopping-related news, I'm all but done with my holiday shopping! I need to finish one crochet project (and it's a doozy), and pick up something for one more yankee swap... and then I'm done! ...I wonder if Payless will have yankee swap appropriate gift items. Hrm.
