Greedy landlord rant
It never ceases to grieve me how landlords are more concerned with lining their wallets than the welfare of their tenants.
I live alone in a ground floor flat that has just been broken into and I don't feel safe there.
I have been given drugs from the doc because of the stress etc.
Even the CPO that came said that I should look into moving.
I told my landlord's agent and she has replied with this:
"I will forward your request to your landlord however must make you aware that if he agrees to let you vacate early you will liable for rent up to and including the date of re-let and also apportioned costs in relation to the re-let fee. Perhaps you can confirm if you are willing to accept these costs before I take the matter further."
I would love to know how she expects me to afford two sets of rent when I can barely afford the rent on the place I'm in already.
I love people sometimes. Can always guarantee a kick when you're down. How generous.
I feel trapped in this hellish existance of being unable to be in my own supposed home on my own without having panic attacks.
