Wow, its been a long time since I've posted, well anything non meme anyway. So...here goes.
In the past week, I have cleaned, with the help of my boy and kiddo, and Biz 95% of the house. That means rearranging stuff, and cleaning, and more cleaning. All of my sewing stuff is now where my computer was...considering my computer is um...how you say non-functional. So now my sewing stuff is not cluttering up the living room. (I can't wait for the day when we buy a house with a basement so I can have a legit sewing room) The bonus to all of this moving of stuff is that I found all the kick butt material that I was going to use for Jodi and my costumes. Biz was all like...THIS STUFF IS AWESOME...and I was all like...NO...you cant have it. *laughs* Now its just laundry...freekin laundry. I am looking at probably giving away at least 1/2 of what I have. There is no way that 3 people should have the amount of clothing that we have. With the exception of the kiddo who grows out of things as fast as I can buy them.
Wedding...Everything is wonderful. We just picked out tuxes...Sean picked out this really awesome burnt orange color, which perfectly compliments the Bridesmaids dresses, and with the fall foiliage it should be beautiful...except for the fact that my wedding is at night, and so you wouldnt be able to see the foilage...unless we got everyone to turn on their car lights, or Jodi was toting some freekin bright camera lights...j/k. Maybe it will still be light enough out...maybe not...either way they are pretty, and Sean and I had a wonderful time at the tux shop. Best quote from the excursion
LADY AT THE STORE:(to sean) How tall are you?
SEAN: 6'9
LADY STARTS TO WRITE, STOPS, LOOKS AT HIM, AND MADLY SCRIBBLES.
Then we went out to register for gifts. We are officially regestered at Wal-Mart and Sears. Fun times. Bizarre gifts. Like, X-files seasons 1 & 2...*grins* I am such a geek. After registering, we went out to spec out prices for the food, just to get a genral idea...so off to BJ's. I was so excited at how reasonably priced everything was...*does a happy dance*
What else. Oh yeah...St. Patrick's day. Wow, the day raised almost the level of tensity as Christmas, well from the people I love anyway, and as this is a lighthearted post full of joy and merriment and love of my peeps, I will not go off on any rant for or against the day...I will save it for another, more ornery(sp?) day. But we had friends over on St. Patty's day. I had my first black and tan. Made tons of corned beef, cabbage, carrots and potatoes. Oh yeah, Sean had his first black and tan too. Half way through it, he was beet red, giggling, and almost slurring words. GO GUINESS! No one believes me when I say that one beer will do him in.
So...other than that, we are gearing up for Sean's confirmation...as well as my brother's...should be a good day. Our group is singing at it (rocking out as Jon put it! :) ) Should be good times...always is...
Well, I must go, breakfast must be served to the little one.
I know I have been kind of "absent" but I am back now. WOO HOO!
I love you all. Miss you tons.
