Work today
A couple interesting things happened today at work.
It was around 11 (not relevant) and Erik gets a phone call from his girlfriend. Over the phone, she gave him the ultimatum that if he doesn't propose to her in six months, she's going to leave him. Erik gets off the phone all upset and starts ranting about how he isn't ready for marriage. When I see Erik, I couldn't picture him married at all. I mean, he's 29, but he still acts like a kid (you'll see what I mean in a minute) so for her to try to force him into marriage would do nothing more than crush his spirit. That makes me sad. I don't think she knows how great Erik is!
Grr... I'd kill for him... (not literally... do not take that as a threat on anyone's life.)
So after that, Erik walks up to me and says "Erin, I have stress." Then he proceeded to throw balls at me (our owner made the mistake of bringing in toys.) I start throwing them back and I ...well, I have terrible aim and end up hitting him where guys don't like to be hit... (fuck that... do you think it's pleasant for girls to get hit there either?) and he doubles over in pain. So the rest of the day he throws balls and rubberbands at me. It was so much fun, seriously. I've never laughed at anyone so much. Then we talked about movies and old nickelodeon shows. UGH!
But guess what?! He's getting a new job along with the job at oades! So, he won't be working at Oade's as much. It makes me sad!
Oh well...
In other news, I have a huge one hour presentation to give tomorrow in my class, and I have no idea what I'm going to talk about. Luckily, I have a partner. She won't be discussing the same thing as me, but I don't think I will be so nervous. I'm also going to wake up early tomorrow to study my notes some. Once tomorrow is over, I will be sitting on easy street.
