What did you do in 2018 that you'd never done before?
I hold my own table. On my own. Under my own name. At a a tattoo convention. Without anyone to tell me what I can or can’t do.
Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more?
I didn’t make any last year. Not sure I’m really making any this year, but I feel more motivated to give up some bad habits and improve certain side of my life right now. So I guess a LOT less smoking ( maybe even stop entirely), less sugar and processed food, and actually step foot in a beauty institute.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope. Thank fuck.
Did anyone close to you die?
Yes :’(
What countries did you visit?
None :( plans were made, but cancelled due to an important family situation.
What would you like to have in 2019 that you lacked in 2018?
Peace of mind on a few important subjects.
What date from 2018 will remain etched upon your memory?
im Not good with dates at all, so i’d Say moments. The moments I lost my cousin and my beloved bunny. Also the last weekend of July, when my mum got diagnosed with cancer. Hard times. But also the times my friend Vanessa came to visit me after a long time of us being almost estranged, it balanced the bad times ;)
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
To be more assertive in my job at the tattoo studio and to manage to stay strong and support my mum
What was your biggest failure?
To not have my driving license. Still.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
Bad groin injury. It really set me off...
What was the best thing you bought?
Not sure at all :s

Mine. I was a good girl. Seriously. Ha ha ha

My previous bosses’. Appalling. Shocking. Always.

Plane tickets :(
What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Participating to a tattoo convention in a friendly atmosphere, surrounded by people who support me. Vanessa coming over and coming BACK. Nothing makes me more happy than having friends making the effort to visit me in my corner of the world

Sadder :( life has been pretty hard.

No idea. Maybe slightly richer but I also had to spend more money

Mmm maybe making too much effort to please people when actually they won’t return half of it
How will you be spending New Year's?
It was at my friend’s rob, like the good old days, with good friends all coming together and having a lot of fun. Great party really.

A raise. ( it would have helped if i’d Asked) and another trip to LA

I was 34 and I spent the evening watching Gary Numan play with a symphonic orchestra in Cardiff
What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Travel more.

“ I will burn you at the stake like you burn my ancestors” also short shorts and pants tops.

You’re never prepared for your parents to die soon. No matter how much you think you’re adult enough to take care of yourself.

It has been so hard and emotional, but all the changes at the tattoo studio made it bearable.
