The God Machine in Previews
I finally got a hold of the June Edition of Previews that had my comic in it. Had to convince the comic/art toy shop owner of Uberbot to let me have it. [which wasn't too hard, he's a sweetie.] It was his store copy, but since it was for June, he didn't need it anymore.
I found out I was in Previews 2 weeks ago at SDCC through a conversation with Dave Lewis. A casual conversation by the way. He happened to mention it when he brought up he wanted to promote it in an interview, and it was like the most surprising thing to me. I was like "what did you just say?" I was shocked!
I'm happy that I did get to learn that it existed before it was too late. I couldn't find any place online that sells back issues of Previews. You only get one time to have your first creation get a full page, and be a special ordeal to yourself at once. It's one little dream, and it's nice to have a physical copy of it.... you know..right? Or am I a weirdo over something so common? I dunno. You just kinda hope for ever that you'll become some kind of a professional, and when you start seeing those signs, it makes you tear up. [as if it's real and not in your head.]
