The old notebook

One of the drawbacks to keeping on online journal in comparison to a plain old notebook is you cannot jot down your feelings exactly when you are feeling them. Last week brought some rough days for me and I was in desperate need to write because when I can pinpoint exactly when I am feeling negatively, then it's easier to figure what to do about it. Does that make sense? Also, it helps me so much to be able to spew out what is inside at the EXACT moment I am dealing with it. I have had such an array of emotions lately: going from really happy to really fucking annoyed to really fucking sad. But then again, isn't that the norm of the average human being? At any rate, I miss the old notebook.

I took my car in to fix my brakes Monday. I knew my brakes were bad, but when I had my brake pedal to the floor (last Thursday) and was unable to stop at a light, thus having to run it, I KNEW my brakes were bad. I thought it would be my brake pads, a simple thing to repair. Walked out of Midas today after $800 worth of repairs were made. GREAT times. But at least now when I hit my brakes to stop, I actually can stop. AND, the little red light that has been on in my car for my brake (since the summer mind you) is now gone.

We got about 3 solid days of snow this past weekend. I have to say, it was pretty exciting and extremely beautiful. It was kind of a fun snow weekend. I couldn't drive my car due to my brakes anyway, so Sam and I spent a lot of time in doors with movies. Sam and I hung out with Sydney, Kirk, Kristen, Johnny, and Cindy on Saturday, which was fun. Syd and I had fun singing loudly to Skinny Puppy :) (yes, we had a bit of alcohol in us!)

I have GOT to get rest. I am so exhausted. Today I woke up early, walked to get my car out of the shop, then headed straight to work...the house was a mess, so work was hard. Then I rushed home, changed, and went to class. I am so glad next week is spring break. Starting tomorrow at 2pm, I have a break from school!
