[Yousuke is busing tables tonight! And also giving everyone a wide, wide berth... Well, at least the male customers.]

[HAS TOTALLY NOTICED what is thissss. But acts as casual and careless as can be.]

Oh? How odd for them to have such a typical tradition.

Typical? [Yousuke clears a table into his tub, dishes clinking together noisily.] It's sadistic. What if you get stuck under it with a another guy?

There is always the choice of simply saying no and turning away.

You mean you don't know? [Yousuke had assumed... But yeah, this does make things easier. He pauses so he doesn't have to shout over his own noise.]

The mistletoe. It shocks you if you get stuck under one and don't kiss.

[There is a long, thoughtful pause as he just stares and takes in the information. He doesn't give any real outward reaction or emotion, he just... stares.]

[Yousuke puts Minagawa between "really" and "pretty fucking" on his creepiness scale, so that unnerves him a bit. He makes a big long curve around him as he heads back the the kitchen to wash his dishes.]

Yeah, so watch out. I got in some serious trouble last year.

[spooktalk]

[Wow, he wasn't even trying either. Once Yousuke starts walking away he will finally give a tiny amused smile and simply adjust his Santa hat.]

Is that so?

[masukukunai]

[It's an inborn talent of his, I think.]

Yeah. [He shouts over the sound of washing.] All the girls I know would kill me before they kiss me. Dangerous stuff.

[Takes off the hat and is about to follow the noise... except Sukekiyo has gotten bored and is wandering around.

So Minagawa decides to wave the hat around and use it as a cat toy, which is proving to be very successful as the cat starts batting away at the puff ball at the end of it. His voice is loud enough to hear, but it still seems more like he's talking to himself (or his cat) than anyone else.]

So no matter what, you seem to come out with a bad end. One would think that the best solution to this is to merely work with what you're given.

No, the best solution is to lock yourself in the bathroom and hunker down until Christmas. [He snorts.] This stuff is tenacious. You can't even take it down.

[Tosses the hat and watches as Sukekiyo leaps after it.]

So this is your desperate time that requires desperate measures. I'm assuming that attempting to burn them doesn't work either?

Nope. I tried. [He actually did.]

I mean, it's not the worst thing to happen here. Not by a long shot. But it's still annoying.
