It is VITAL to keep a sense of wonder! It might be the first thing that goes in the hurricane of adolescence, and when it wanders back in the post-storm calm, we don't always recognize it.

If we do not destroy ourselves, we will one day venture into the stars.

Looking over the ol' dream journal, it's cracking me up.
"Was hiking down a snowy mountain with Dustin, then he had to go. While I was hiking alone I ran into another hiker who didn't speak English, but we hiked together for a while. Then I saw some people I knew, in a car. One of them got out and gave me a hot dog. I said thanks and left, then threw the hot dog at a rock. It exploded like a meaty firework."

"Dustin and I bought 2 rats, but they weren't friendly. A huge old rat suddenly came out of the closet. We didn't have a cage so we put them all under a laundry basket and fed them fruit."

"Was in a gas station in the mountains. A cat named Ezekiel came and I petted it. Wanted to make a cake but could only find pancake mix." (THE HORROR!!)

"In Arroyo Park at night, full moon, taking pictures. Suddenly field becomes filled with herons, egrets, and moose. A moose charges me, but I step aside calmly and it misses."
