Okay... this is seriously an honest, desperate plea to anyone in the area who might want a cat, or anyone who KNOWS anyone who might want a cat. Please don't skip over this... at least pass it along
When we lived in Werewolf Manor, there was an outdoor kitty that was brought to us when she was pregnant. She had the kittens, and we never saw them, so I assume they died or were taken away. Anyways, she kept coming around after that, so we fed her and gave her a warm bed. She has obviously never been an outdoor cat---and always stayed close to our door, basically living on our porch. However, since we have four cats of our own, and can't afford to take care of another or even have her fixed, we couldn't bring her inside.
Well.. now we've moved and according to our landlord, she is still hanging around. No one will feed or take care of this cat now that we are gone. The neighborhood kids terrorize her, and she's obviously not used to being outside. I am afraid that someone will hurt her or take her to a place that will euthanize her-- worse yet, I am afraid that she will not live through the winter. She is such a beautiful, sweet cat, and I would hate to see anything happen to her. We tried the humane society and C.A.R.E., but both are full and will not take her.
So, if you know anyone who wants a cat or if you want a cat, PLEASE let myself or Jesse know so that we can get this sweet kitty out of the cold and into a loving home. Please pass this message along.
