Howdy howdy

Another week going by, woo-hah....

This is G's last week at work. I've been cranking out stuff for sale, should be able to launch a storefront by the end of the month. No idea who'd buy anything I made, but it's worth a shot I suppose, especially if it helps stretch the paycheck a bit while George is jobhunting.

Also hurt my eye... somehow my contact got chipped and I stuck the hard plastic contact with nice new serrated edge into my eye and treated myself to a day of searing pain and headache despite popping the damn thing out within a second of putting it in TT_TT

Don't do this. EVER.

Also been playing with the new camera a bit, love it!! Can't wait to start taking pics of people again after some practice. This thing is my baby, and very much worth being the last splurge for a long while. Val is going to come guinea pig on Friday so I can get some practice in before we head off to VnV.

First  the stuff I found:

Most adorable ami I've seen yet! I wanna make this bat so much now!!

A Hello Kitty Zombie cake!!! <3333333

The new camera - haven't been outside with it yet, but it's so much fun!!! Can't wait to do shoots! Maybe the weekend after next? I'd love to go see everyone. Don't have a ride to SoFla yet though. Carpool anyone?

Something I've been making for the shop: Cupcake with removable "paper"

Also working on a GIANT market bag. This thing could hold the sewing machine with space to spare. Starting a handle at the top...

Still have some of the previous things going, the blue/rust wool wrap - got held up trying to figure out how to finish since that yarn is discontinued, and the bat basket, on hold while I work on these. Also made a plush Godot for Juan's BDay (OMG, He and the Three Wisemen shot.... good times!) but no pics because that didn't come out so good... something like Godot and an M & M - I used the person pattern from Geek Central Station (EPIC geek crafts over there, star wars, vintage video games and lots more!) but it didn't work out so well for this project.....
