Sewing! FINALLY!

The week off was absolutely wonderful!   Chief-chan came up for a few days, and this was generally the state of things:

Hooray for company that wants to spend their time sewing,  just like I did!  She's working on a movie version of Tomoyo from Tsubasa, and it was really nice by the time she left - it was almost done (see photo no. 2)!  I envy her speediness, and hope that she won't mind me posting the photo. She started with a stack of fabric when she arrived and left with a complete dress plus kimono top with a double collar. O.o! Twitch chose to "help" throughout the week - as you can see, he's doing a great job. :)

Here's my progress for the weekend, from the Celes opera dress:

Sorry the contrast is so high... :/ I still have to add some more lace, the flounces + lace to the sleeves, and stitch down the current layer of the detailing with the lace so that it will remain  in place, as well as put in the lining.  It feels really good to be sewing again, but I've got to get on the ball with the beading. I've been lazy...

Since I'm rolling out progress pictures, here's also the embellishing and wolves - I work on them when I travel or when George is around since he can't see the dress:

Until next time, Space Cowboy....
