(no subject)
I got to see the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis today. We happened to be driving by and all of the sudden I was like 'omigosh, is that what I think it is?!'
So we drove by on our way home and I got a picture with it.
Angie and I went to the American Swedish Institute today.
It took kind of forever to get there because we had a number of problematic twists and turns and missed streets because they're renamed so and so memorial highway. We did get a lovely look at some of the nice lakes in minneapolis. I think they had boat rental on at least a couple of the lakes which would be awesome! I saw a hobie cat :) Maybe Donna and I will go this weekend.
Today is my last day with Angie. She and Jay are driving to Iowa for some convention tomorrow and won't be back before I leave. It's really been a fun visit and it was nice to have the time to be here and do a lot of things. I've seen my cousins probably 4 times now and I'll see them again tomorrow which is great. I really like them, they are very addicting and adorable.
I really like it up here. Obviously it's better in the summer than in the winter, but I feel like if I got good and tan in the summer and did a lot of lake sports and whatnot, that I'd be happy enough to spend the winter doing other things. I guess I'll just have to see what happens in life on that one.
I have bought a TON of clothes. I think I have kept it under $200 though and that is pretty impressive if you ask me. I will be doing an inventory either under a cut or in a private entry.
