Akfjweaoeiow;afj;owiejf;oiawjef;oij I found this drabble that I wrote a few months ago, and kinda liked it. I'm too lazy to come up with a good ending but this one is so abrupt or whatever that it's different, but I can live with it.

Screams ring through the air, but she can no longer hear. Blood is oozing out of her mouth, but she can no longer taste. There is a horrid odor all around her, but she can no longer smell. People all around her are dying, but she can no longer see. Her skin is burning, but she can no longer feel. The world is black for her, as she lies there in the middle of the classroom. Ironically enough, the sky is a healthy pale blue, the sun is shining bright. And a large-scale tragedy won't change that. Not even the strange green gas that happens to seep into the streets of Tokyo. The strange green gas that can kill. The strange green gas that is killing.
But she isn't dead. Far from it. Senseless- but not dead. And half of her wishes her senses never came back to her that day. But they did. As she lays there, she begins to feel the cold of the floor against her cheek. She begins to taste the disgusting rusty taste of dried blood in her mouth. She begins to smell the wretched stink still lingering in the air. She opens her eyes to see her mother laying in front of her, eyes unfocused and matte, dried blood staining her chin and shirt. And she hears nothing. She slowly gets up, leaning on a desk for support.
She tries to remember what had happened, but nothing comes to mind. Only confusion, fear. The only thing she can remember is her name and her best friend, for the moment. She is scared to death- she has no idea what has happened, what's going to happen, what's happening at the moment. All she can see are the bodies of all her classmates, blood coming from their mouths too. In her confusion, she cannot seem to piece anything together. The thought that they might be dead does not even enter her mind. She finally decides to look for her best friend, Chiyuki. She walks over the bodies, careful not to step on anyone. And there she lies, just a few feet away. The girl gets down on her knees and shakes her friend a few times. "Chiyuki? Wake up, Chiyuki. You have blood all over your chin. Chiyuki?" she asks. The non-responsive state of her friend worries the girl, but she brushes it off quickly and tries again. "Chiyuki? Chiyuki, sleepyhead, wake up."
She does not move.
The girl is confused. She can feel the doubt in her heart grow larger and larger, the fear starting to show in her eyes. And only then does the thought enter her mind. The bloody chins, the stink. The silence. The lack of breath in the air. Because no matter how hard she listens, the only breathing she hears is her own. This scares her even more. She gets up once more, though it is very hard to keep her balance. She steps over the bodies once more, making her way to the window. Chiyuki lays motionless, along with the rest of her classmates.
The first thing she notices upon looking out the window is the bright blue sky. She looks up to see that it is clear, cloudless-- perfect. All of the trees around the school are still flowering, more so than usual. The streets outside are empty. Or at least, as far as she can see.
For the first and last time in her life, she is scared to death. She can't conjure up enough strength to scream.
