A/N: Ummmm I broke my promise ;___; such a bad Mumu. Enjoy? Or don't enjoy D: In fact I'd rather you not enjoy it to discourage me from writing angst ever again. EXTREMELY STRONG, HARSH CRITIQUE REQUESTED PRZ. Also, the italics are, for the most part, speech. Sorry if it gets confusing. XD
Ryutaro sighed as he fell onto the couch, closing his eyes and leaning back his head. Tired and stressed, the last place he wanted to be was the jimusho. He groaned as he covered his eyes,
I'm such an idiot,
He had woken up an hour too early.
Daylight savings.
Thankfully the practice room was quiet-- no one had arrived yet, and they had a comfy place to sit. He sunk further into the couch, beginning to doze off.
OH MY GOD, I'M SO SORRY I'M LATE!
Ryutaro jumped as he looked toward the door,
Are? Where is everyone else...?
He couldn't help but smile-- he wasn't the only one who had forgotten.
Daylight savings.
Ryutaro sat up, he knew now with Yuuto in the room there was no way he would get back to sleep any time soon. The older boy smacked his head, letting out a small laugh,
I totally forgot.
Yuuto took a seat next to his kouhai, leaning back into the couch.
Me too.
They both looked at each other for a moment, then laughed again. The room fell quiet as they sat on the couch, neither speaking for a good 10 minutes. Ryutaro wondered if he should say something, Yuuto seemed lost in his thoughts, a worried, almost troubled look on his face. He figured Yuuto was just concentrating on something, though his gaze wasn't particularly focused. Ryutaro crossed his arms,
You know,
The silence broken,
Today,
No turning back,
Yama-chan, he... broke up with me.
Yuuto leaned forward on the couch, resting his elbows on his knees and glancing back at a stunned and confused Ryutaro.
He... what?
A bitter smile crossed Yuuto's face as he looked away once more,
He told me, I was annoying and I should quit bothering him.
Ryutaro found it hard to breathe,
He told me he didn't ...
Yuuto's choked voice echoed through the room,
Love me... anymore.
A soft whisper, but Ryutaro heard it all the same. A small whimper, face buried in his hands, he trembled as Ryutaro slowly, hesitantly, wrapped his arms around the wounded,
Oh, hey guys, I thought I was late.
Ryutaro felt Yuuto tense under his hold, slowly bringing his hands down from his face, but not looking up.
I guess daylight savings was today.
Ryutaro looked up at him angrily,
What's with the tense atmosphere?
He said nothing. Ryosuke sighed and sat down on the couch next to Yuuto, dropping his bag on the table, cooly, calmly,
As Yuuto stood up,
I'm going to the bathroom.
Ryosuke shrugged, Ryutaro clenched his teeth, looking forward.
The door closes behind him,
Why did you do it?
A smirk, a soft laugh,
But he says nothing.
