An interesting article on repealing Marijuana prohibition

For the record, I don't smoke - anything. No pot, no cigarettes, no hookah. I find it to be a gross personal habit that makes people stinky, temporarily stupid and less fun to be around. However, I am not going to infringe on anyone's rights to put what they want into their bodies(unless they're doing it in my house. But that's just a stink thing, not a moral thing).

So here's a link to a well thought out article on repealing prohibition.

Why do we spend billions per year on enforcement, judicial costs, and imprisonment of people whose only crime is to prefer a relatively mild, non-government-sanctioned intoxicant over more addictive, more health-damaging government-approved ones? Why is the government so intent on protecting me from me - and you from you? Isn’t its rightful role to protect us from outside threats against our persons and property?

Enjoy!
