Arctic sky over Moscow. 05/22/2022
May 2022 was very cold in Moscow. All Muscovites are accustomed to the fact that since mid-May they can forget about winter jackets and hide them in the wardrobe, but last year was an exception. But it happened that it gave pleasant surprises. For example, on a day when the wind was blowing from the Arctic, very dry air came in and the sky cleared, opening the way for the purest golden light. As a photographer I appreciate good light and feel the slightest shades of it depending on pollution, humidity and other things. That day the light was absolutely pure.
No, I did not go to photograph the transport, although I have several transport photographs from that day. But today we will not talk about that. Today - genre photos. What I saw along the way.
I started my route from the Botanical Garden and Ostankino Park. At the Seligerskaya metro station we met with my brother, then we drove to the main entrance, rented bikes and went for a ride.

Then my brother and I went to VDNKh, and I began to look for stories there. Despite the sunny and fine day there were no plots - it was cold outside, there were neither the short skirts usual for this time, nor various activities such as roller skating or scooters, no one was sitting hugging near the fountains, and the fountains themselves did not work. So I didn't film anything.
After that my brother left me and gone on his business, and I myself did not want to miss the magical sky and light, so I drove to Timiryazevskaya, where I went by tram to the Timiryazev Academy, then to Pryanishnikova Street, where I took the 72 bus and drove to the metro Water Stadium. I walked along the Leningrad highway to the River Station, where I had already resumed filming. I discovered this place for the first time, and I really liked it.

That evening, for the first time, I saw three-wheeled rickshaws like "tuk-tuks" in Moscow. Then I could not imagine that in just six months it would become commonplace for me.

I decided to take a ride on the ship "Moskva-1" to the other side. This can be done here using the Troika card. River trams themselves serve as river taxis.
