(no subject)
this weekend was crazy crazy. i left on friday right after school and i went down to santa clara for a dance competition. friday night we had scholorship auditions and that is basicaly like u learn a dance in 15 minutes and then perform it in groups of 5 and ur r watched by judges the whole time to se how fast u pick it up and can perform it and all taht fun stuff.
saturday i competed my solo a duo and a trio. my solo the floor was really slippery and so like i was slipping all over the place and i slipped and tounched the ground a few times and then tripped over wires on my way off stage but the tripping kinda went with my song and all so that was ok. but i only got a silver on it, which was complete crap because the last time i did my solo i got a silver and it was much better this time and we put in harder tricks and stuff. but the judges were really really tuff. no one was really fairly judged. people who did really really well only got high silvers when they really deserved a gold.
then me and shannon did our duo to mamma im a big girl now which is from hairspray and it went really realyly well. except i almost loist my balance on my extension but our fuete turns wer together and then our little like prancing walk thingy was off. but we got high silver for it and then we got SECOND OVER ALL HIGHEST SCOREING DUO TRI. which is out of all the division three duo trios. and the duo that beat us werent really that good.
and then the trio i did with shannon and ally was terrible like we had these strings that attached us in the dance and its really cool and creative and original and stuff but in the dance we r supposed to take them off and like switch them and stuf but mine got cuaght on my braclet and it was really scary and then we forgot a part and then i did the wrong step in the ending and like it was crazy and we were all crying because we felt like we did so terrible and then like it turned out we got silver for it and third in the duo trio over all lyrical was surpirsing.
sunday we had convention classes and the lyrical teacher was so gooood! we did this angry dance and it was so emotional! and then the hip hop teacher was so ffine! and we were doing our hip hop dance to the new destiny's child single. and i was gettin' MY GROOOVE ON! he was so funny tho because he kinda talked all ghetto even tho he was very very white. and hed be all like "u dance on the streets with hip hopp fo' only a DOLLA'! he was so funny!
