Welcome to spoilershield, a fandom community which works to helping people to avoid spoilers about the shows they watch.
Fandom is seeping with spoilers and we know visiting the communties you love can sometimes be tempting. We are aiming here to hel those of you who don't want the temptation and want to talk about your spoiler-addiction or even just discuss the show you love and where you hope it will go based on pure speculation.
This community came into existence when sophielou21 told me that she wished to avoid spoilers for the TV shows she watches from now on, especially Merlin. I had always had an idea of running a spoiler free Merlin community but I never got around to it. Then we got talking and decided that we could start a community for people avoiding spoilers for all their TV shows to come to and discuss the shows. It would work on an invite-only basis or -- if a person wishes to join from outside the community's inner circle of friends -- only verified as OK people could join.
So I decided to put this together.
