Team America, World Police
bellanna is great at scoring free stuff. Yesterday she got 2 preview tickets to Team America, World Police and the local Vue cinema shuffled us and about 140 other free loaders into one of their smallest screens. The audience was full of students so I expected them to laugh along with the predicted South Park level of humour.
Yes, if you like South Park and have fond memories of puppet shows like Thunderbirds and Terrahawks, then Team America is right up your street. I enjoyed much of the film, but the jokes were a bit hit and miss on my sense of humour, especially the over repetition of the crude ones.
In summary, it was good, but I was glad we didn't pay to see it.
Afterwards we went to CB2 for our supper, which was a very nice chicken burger for her and a chicken breast stuffed with pesto and wrapped in bacon for me.
