For a challenge I've been experimenting with creating HDR images from multiple exposures. Dynamic-Photo HDR is very good at producing dramatic images with punchy colours, but I didn't get on with its workflow. There didn't seem to be an easy way to adjust the thresholds between the layers - I suspect they want me to upgrade from free trial version.
I also followed some instructions for HDR with GIMP. Interesting, but not as dramatic.
