Cardomorphic Monikerism

I'd say that OSC's two best known series are the Ender series and the Alvin series. It occured to my word-image sense (the knack which sees the shape of a word - the vowel structure, th sound, the roots and etymology, etc) that something was similar about these words. A few seconds later I saw that they both began with vowels, and were five letters long. As I often do with patterns, I sought to continue this pattern and see what other names might fit this pattern. Immediately, a name entered my mind: Orson.

Later inspection showed me that a further identicality was the vowel/consonant arrangement: v c c v c. Not only that, the syllables divide between the first two letters and the last three. Also, the 2nd and 5th letter are softer consonants than the 3rd letter (my phonology is weak here and I don't know the word for this).

My question to OSC is this: Was it intentional that your two biggest male protagonists have names with identical structure to your own?

Since 11/19 we have had no telephone or internet. Troubleshooting has indicated the fault lies between the outside of our house and GWI. The telephone company will be sending a crew to check it out. The best contact is my work email or our cell phones. Allison is starting to get that "caged animal" look in her eyes. - My father
